A 500, Black - Active Subwoofer

The A 500 Active Subwoofer by WHD is a high-performance low-frequency solution engineered for demanding hi-fi and home cinema systems. Proudly Made in Germany, it combines precision engineering with a clean, minimalist design that integrates seamlessly into any modern interior.

Despite its compact footprint, the A 500 delivers exceptionally deep and controlled bass, reaching down to an impressive 28 Hz. Its dual-driver, impulse-compensating design minimizes vibration while maximizing output, resulting in tight, accurate bass without unwanted resonance or boominess. Whether for music, movies, or gaming, it provides a powerful and immersive foundation that enhances the entire soundstage.

Equipped with a built-in 100W amplifier, the subwoofer ensures dynamic performance even at higher volume levels. Adjustable crossover (40–200 Hz), volume control, and continuously variable phase (0–180°) allow precise tuning to match any speaker system and room acoustics.

With versatile connectivity—including LFE, line-in, and high-level inputs—the A 500 integrates into stereo or multi-channel setups, delivering refined and impactful bass performance in any environment.
