Description
The SDL 400-S by WHD is a specialized 2-way loudspeaker designed for invisible installation behind stretch ceilings, delivering high-quality sound without compromising interior aesthetics. Engineered and Made in Germany, it transforms stretch ceilings into an elegant, hidden audio solution.
With its ultra-flat profile of only 58 mm, the SDL 400-S integrates seamlessly behind ceiling membranes, remaining completely invisible once installed. Despite being concealed, the speaker delivers clear, natural sound thanks to its optimized crossover and carefully tuned acoustic design, specifically engineered to compensate for the acoustic impact of the ceiling material.
Equipped with a 4-inch woofer, tweeter, and bass reflex technology, it provides surprisingly strong low-frequency performance for its compact size. The system ensures balanced audio reproduction for both music and speech.
The SDL 400-S is designed as part of a scalable system and can be connected to the SDL 400-M master speaker, enabling flexible configurations including Bluetooth or Wi-Fi streaming setups.
